Mine is a tale of dreams, reinvention, and the pursuit of having my cake and eating it!

I’ve consciously designed my life around the core themes of freedom, my favourite people, and sunshine. I believe it’s possible for everyone to create a life they truly love—once they discover what their own version of success looks like.

Starting the day with my tune of the year and movement—yoga, walking, swimming, or a full-blown HIIT session. Followed very closely by coffee, ideally outside. Ending the day with my journal, essential oils, a good book, and a nighttime tea (Monday–Friday). On weekends? Swap the tea for a good glass of wine and seafood.

Hopping between France and Australia, forever escaping winter. Taking ocean dips, flowing on the yoga mat, or helping someone ditch their “meh” job for something better. Hosting and guesting on podcasts. Exploring new corners of the world.

YOU CAN FIND ME:

Corporate BS, just surviving or working yourself into the ground and missing out on life. Hustle culture for hustle’s sake? No thanks. Waiting until retirement to start living? Absolutely not.

I'm NOT ABOUT:

That deep down, we all have the answers, we just need to pause long enough to hear them. There is always another way; you don’t have to follow the blueprint or live by old stories.

I BELIEVE:

As if the universe heard me, the next day, a job in Sydney landed in my inbox. Born and raised in Lyme Regis, a small seaside town on the South coast of the UK, this was a huge move for me. I was close to family, had amazing friends, owned a house with my husband, worked for a successful company, and lived a peachy life by the ocean. Yet, for some reason, it was not enough. I wanted more.

Sydney is more than awesome. The sun shines, the coffee is amazing, cocktails flow, sunrise dips, and a serene 20-minute ferry commute to work all come together to have you living your best life. Responsibility feels a long way away.

However, five years into the dream, something was missing.

My first career crisis, combined with 11 hours stuck on the M25 in a snowstorm, had me questioning whether there was something better than just surviving the British winter and living for summer.

As is the case for many, I fell into my career. At 23 years old, on returning from backpacking in SE Asia, I applied for a graduate management position, which happened to be in recruitment. For two decades, I carved my path as a recruiter and leader in the industry across the UK and Australia. The majority of my career moves were not intentional. I was privileged to be thrown one career opportunity after another that kept me engaged and growing professionally.

How It All Began

Rewrite the rules. Redefine success. Create a life you love.

In 2016, my husband and I found ourselves at a crossroads.

As expats, did we want to return home to the UK, or was it time to make Australia our home? Did we want to continue on our professional corporate journey until retirement, or were there other options? What is retirement, anyway? We had all these questions, and while working full time, we had limited time and space to answer them.

Enter our 8-month sabbatical.

During this time, we spent our days delving into our values, exploring our aspirations, and questioning whether we were truly living the life we wanted—or if we were just following a societal blueprint, doing what we thought we should do, or what others expected of us. It was time for a recalibration.

Upon returning to Australia and our professional lives, armed with newfound clarity, we reverse-engineered a five-year plan that would shape our dream life. One based on our number one value of freedom, bathed in sunshine, and intertwined with the lives of our favourite people (who spanned two continents!).

Fast Forward to 2022

We bid farewell to our corporate jobs, took a leap of faith, and embraced a life less ordinary.

I undertook a transformative journey, retraining as a travel coach, while my husband embarked on the renovation adventure of a 16th-century derelict barn (a project we had gifted to ourselves as a wedding present back in 2008!).

Now, our days are split between the charming landscapes of rural France and the sun-kissed shores of Australia, with ample travel adventures in between. It’s a lifestyle crafted with intention, where work and passion seamlessly intertwine.

However, as with all good stories, there was a plot twist. Travel is, and probably always will be, my passion. However, it seems the world wasn’t ready for me in the capacity of a travel coach. By exploring my ikigai and working with my coach, I intentionally pivoted to focus on helping others navigate their own career transitions, sabbaticals, and career breaks.

I partner with individuals, working collaboratively to unearth their desires for the next chapter and guiding them on the practical steps to transform those dreams into reality. My approach is unique, blending traditional coaching, lived-experience mentoring, and over 20 years of recruitment expertise.

My vision is to help create a world where everyone defines success on their own terms and builds a future that feels deeply and uniquely theirs, free from societal blueprints and outdated stories. I’m passionate about guiding others to design lives that align deeply with their values, dreams, and authentic selves.
